Irene is a Senior Analyst based in Kenya. She has over 5 years of investments advisory experience in Kenya and across Africa.

Prior to Viruni, Irene served as an Investment Banking Analyst at Horizon Africa Capital where she covered multiple assignments on debt & equity transactions and M&A transactions in manufacturing, energy, real estate and hospitality. She has also served as an investment advisor to institutional investors in Kenya and East Africa in her previous roles.

She has a strong background in transaction advisory and financial modelling.

Irene holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Actuarial Science from Moi University in Kenya and is a Certified Investments and Financial Analyst.
