We are committed to energy and infrastructure assets in emerging markets. As an asset class, it has base demand not directly affected by the state of the economy. It has a relatively low risk profile for investors due to its regulated nature, high barriers of entry, large CAPEX spending and historically low correlation to the performance of other asset classes. Energy assets are stable and predictable because of their often long-term regulated or contracted nature and inflation adjusted growing cash yields.
